Aviary Room (2-5 years)

The Aviary Room is home to our Preschool and Ladybirds. In this room we provide the opportunity for your child to learn the skills that will prepare them for life. The children are introduced to a wide range of activities with a balance of adult and child led learning.

Our staff facilitate children's interests and ideas to build children's confidence and learning for life. Children enjoy having the opportunities to explore an enabling nursery environment to encourage their learning.

We offer children the help and support to enable them to enhance their growing skills in mobility and language development a wider range of activities which will satisfy their growing need for independence.

In our Aviary room children participate in lots of fun activities which include role play, creative and messy play, singing and dance and much more. We believe that our outside space is an extension to the classroom and children have an opportunity throughout the day to free flow inside and out.

All toys and resources are accessible for the children to explore in their own time and space. Key workers encourage children's independence with helping to potty train and self help skills.

Our homecorner, where we like to do cooking with both real & plastic food.Children's choice area - this is where the children can choose what they would like to play with.ICT area - children have the opportunity to do drawings, writing or play educational games.
